Moomintroll's vain lady friend and admirer. She does fall in love with other characters sometimes (as does Moomin) but she always returns before things get too serious.
She wears a golden ring on her left ankle and a golden earring in her left ear (only in the Puppet animation). Her pride and joy is her beautiful blond fringe.
She is a very patient and empathic moomin who is always prepared to listen to people in trouble.
Snork Maiden lives with her brother Snork and is first mentioned in Comet in Moominland chapter six with her first appearance in chapter seven.
